I'm selling a Nikon FE2 35mm film camera with a Nikon 35mm f/2 lens and an AstroHori light meter.
This camera is from a time when photographers thought first and only then pressed the shutter button. There’s no autofocus, no face detection, and no artificial intelligence. If the photo isn’t in focus, it’s your fault, not the firmware’s.
The 35mm f/2 is perfect for street photography, travel, people, and anything you want to capture before it’s gone. The lenses are clean, though there are a few scratches on the body and lens. Others call these signs of use; Leica owners call them patina.
The AstroHori light meter helps you figure out the exposure so that, after development, all 36 photos aren’t as black as your bank balance after buying the film.
Everything works. Load a roll of film and shoot just like in 1985—only now, each shot costs so much that composition suddenly becomes very important.
